Offering Counting Ministry

What

  • A ministry that exists to assist the treasurer by collecting, recording, and depositing offerings and donations with Biblical integrity, in accordance with leadership decisions, and in compliance with required tax protocol.

Why

  • 1 Timothy 6:17b-19: “… trust … in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.”

How

  • Counting and recording all funds received in TCBC computer accounting files.
  • Making government-required tax statements annually for donor’s tax records.

Who

  • The offering counters coordinator leads a team of two in their weekly counting duties.

When

  • Weekly recording of Sunday offerings.
