Ladies Book Study

What:

  • A weekly study group that exists to stimulate growth in holiness through: topical book studies, prayer, fellowship, accountability and social refreshment.

Why:

  • Psalm 119:2 “Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with the whole heart!”
  • James 1:22-25 “But be doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.“

How:

  • Meeting weekly in the morning
  • Serving of coffee and simple snacks
  • Providing child care for children (ages 5 and under) of attendees
  • Preparatory reading (prior to group meeting) a chapter of the selected book
  • Discussing implications of teaching within the chapter
  • Meeting in smaller fellowship groups for prayer, sharing, and accountability

Who:

  • All TCBC ladies willing to commit to the complete study

When:

  • Tuesday mornings from 9:30-11:00

Where:

  • TCBC, meeting in the chapel (child care in the nursery)
